Magic cellar of the museum cannot be missed neither by children nor adults. It is full of elves – Picmochs who moved into the originally uninhabited Bílovec Museum cellar. The visitors will get to know two Picmoch families — Barnabases a Tvorimirs. Picmochs are hardworking and they present the traditional crafts to the youngest visitors.
Daddy Barnabas produces nut brandy and also beautiful buttons made of ivory-nuts. Madlenka (his wife) makes beautiful paintings. Their children Kryspinka, Hardrianek, little dressy girl Apolenka, Jozifek and the youngest Dorotka, sleeping in the cradle, misbehave from time to time, but make the parents happy.
The head of the Tvorimir family is a blacksmith Tvorimir. Not only he makes horseshoes but also pulls children’s aching teeth. Mommy Gerta is a herbalist and has a knowledge of secret plants which take the pain away. Their son Lojzik is a naughty child, his favourite fun is to play with a sling so he gets in trouble from time to time. Their daughter Marjanka likes swinging. Barunka and Cecilka are very skilful and help their mother to gather herbs.
In the cellar, there also lives a monk Jetrich and a hermit. Under the pillory they both pray for the souls of people who were punished. Jeronym is a miller. He weights grain on the scale and produces flour to prepare delicious and well-known Picmoch bread. Also shepherd Metudek found his home in the cellar. Actually it was him and his sheep who saw the cellar window first and brought all Picmochs there.
